Transparent front / silver back stand-up press-to-close pouch

The transparent front / silver back stand-up press-to-close pouch combines product visibility with a striking background. The contents can be shown directly through the front panel, while the silver back frames colours and shapes. The gusset creates a shape suitable for upright display, and the press-to-close zip helps with handling packs used on several occasions. It is a good choice when both the appearance of the product and a tidy pack play a part in the purchase.

Visual appeal against the right background

The fully transparent front works well for presenting pieces of different shapes or colours. The back panel visually separates the contents from the products behind it, making it easier to plan a uniform shelf display. Artwork and markings should be placed where they remain legible on the filled pouch and do not cover important details of the product. During a packing trial, the overall look, the free space at the top and the proportions of the pouch must therefore be judged with the real fill. The effect of the silver background should be assessed together with the product's own colour, especially with several different fills.

Protection including the front panel

For the transparent side, both a medium aroma barrier material and a material providing higher aroma protection can be chosen. We agree the required structure based on the intensity of the aroma, the composition of the product and the storage environment. If vacuum or modified atmosphere packaging is required, a version suitable for this must be selected specifically. Light protection must be assessed across the whole pack: alongside the covering effect of the silver back, light reaches the product through the transparent front, so this version suits a product concept that also requires visibility.

Size, gusset and resealing

The pouch is available in 130 × 200/30, 155 × 225/30 and 200 × 300/40 mm sizes, in a 72-micron version. The right size is best determined based on the fill volume, and space must be left for the first seal above the zip. The way the gusset works is also influenced by the shape and distribution of the fill. After opening, the zip can be closed comfortably if the profiles are clean; with crumbly or granular products, the filling method must also take this into account.

A look with your own branding

The pouch can also be printed with custom artwork. During design, we coordinate the transparent front, the silver back and the brand's information needs. With several pack sizes, the proportions of the artwork need to be matched to the actual pouch size so that the product name and important markings are clear on the upright pack too. It is worth clarifying in advance which surface should present the contents and which should carry the detailed information.
