Transparent front / silver back stand-up pouch
Decorative pouch with a transparent front and a silver back that sets off the packed product; stands on the shelf and can be resealed.
Full description
The transparent front / silver back stand-up pouch combines product presentation with a silver background and an upright format. Behind the transparent front, the contents are clearly visible, and the back can emphasise their colour and shape. The stand-up design can be planned for vertical placement on the shelf or counter. We adapt the material structure and size to the protection requirements of the contents, so that appearance and packaging task complement each other.
Product appeal against an upright silver background
The real product appears on the front of the pack, so its colour and arrangement are part of the branding. The silver surface provides a different background for light, dark or mixed contents. To create the right proportions, the width and height of the pouch must be examined together with the desired portion. As the gusset opens, the bottom of the pack becomes three-dimensional, so the front seen flat takes on a different shape when filled. We therefore assess the final appearance on an upright sample pack, in the position in which the buyer will encounter it.
Aroma protection and application options
The material of the front can be chosen for different requirements. If mechanical protection and appearance are the priority, a structure with a more moderate aroma barrier can also be considered; other contents may require an aroma barrier design. A suitable complete structure can also be designed for vacuum or modified atmosphere packaging. During our consultation, we examine the front, the back, the seals and the packaging equipment together. Alongside the silver back, the front remains transparent, so for light-sensitive products this surface must also be taken into account when defining the protection requirements.
How the gusset performs with the real contents
Upright placement is determined jointly by the shape of the pouch and the internal distribution of the product. For correct sizing, we also check the volume, the shape of the pieces and the space needed for sealing. The contents should not cause local tension around the gusset, and the top sealing surface should remain free. When planning vacuum packing, the shape formed after the air is removed must be checked separately, because the pouch then follows the shape of the product more closely. Shelf presence and placement in the outer carton can thus be designed based on the actual packed condition.
Printing with two surface characters
The pouch can also be printed with a custom company logo and artwork. The transparent front and the silver background offer different options for arranging information. It is advisable to leave the area intended for showing the contents clear and to place the product name where it is easy to read on the upright pack. The back can also be used for more detailed information, according to the artwork. The folds of the gusset, the seals and the opening point affect the ideal position of the text, so we take these into account together when assessing the design and the sample pack.
For the silver-backed stand-up pouch, we agree on the product sample, the desired pack size and the packaging method used. On this basis, the visible front, the background and the upright format can be coordinated so that the finished pack showcases the product and also provides the necessary protection.
