Upright appearance matched to the product size

The stand-up format provides a base for vertical display through the space formed at the bottom of the pouch. However, the behaviour of the finished pack also depends on the quantity, shape and distribution of the contents. The 125 × 180/30 mm size must therefore be checked for the planned portion with a trial fill. The stated outer size is not the same as a specific fill weight: goods of different density or piece size can take up different volumes in the same pouch. On the filled pack, the upright placement, the shape of the top and the internal space remaining for the product can be checked.

For your own packing, an impulse sealer can also be considered, with suitable equipment and settings. No contents or contamination should get into the seal area, and the pouch should not be filled so much that the edges are under tension. Visible contents, your own artwork

A custom company logo and artwork can be printed on the pouch. Because of the upright format, the product name and brand mark can be well placed on the front surface, while a transparent area can also remain to show the contents. The artwork layout must be assessed together with the opening gusset and the contours of the filled pack. Important information should not end up in a fold that hides it on the shelf. The appearance of the product, the contrast of the print and the proportions of the upright pack together create the look of the finished pack.
