Boxer 62 tabletop chamber vacuum machine
Seal bar length: 620 mm – Cycle time: 15–35 s
Full description
When choosing the Boxer 62 tabletop chamber vacuum machine, it is worth thinking through the entire packaging task: what pouch is used, how the product can be placed in the chamber and what seal is required. The control and sealing options of the Boxer family offer several directions for this. We will help you match the machine version to your products and your daily operating routine.
A stable work surface, an accessible machine
For the unit's external dimensions of 528 × 698 × 440 mm, a table of suitable size and load capacity must be chosen. Free access is also needed for opening the lid and for daily cleaning of the chamber. With larger pouches, a preparation surface in front of the machine is particularly useful, as the shape and sealing edge of the filled pack can be arranged before loading. It is advisable to designate areas on the worktop for filling, vacuum packing and receiving finished packs. This way the unit is sized together with the manual operations around it.
Control for recurring tasks
Time control and sensor control options can be agreed, and the ten programs support managing the settings for recurring products. When choosing, it is important whether the plant works with constant or frequently changing contents. It is also worth assigning the pouch used and the preparation method to each program. The settings must be checked on your own pack and then clearly specified for staff. We also match the use of soft-air, which provides controlled air return at the end of the process, to the properties of the product.
Sealing is a selection task in its own right
Several systems can be chosen for sealing the pouch: double seal, sealing combined with cut-off or wide seal can serve different packaging needs. Besides the thickness of the film, its structure and the design of the mouth also matter. The pouch must lie flat across its full width in the chosen seal bar arrangement. A modified atmosphere pack requires a suitable gas flush configuration and a gas mixture specified for the product. The required version is therefore best decided on the basis of a specific sample pack and the expected finished product.
Cleanability as part of use
The stainless steel outer housing, the stainless steel chamber and the removable seal bars help access the parts to be cleaned. The chamber can be observed through the transparent lid, and the working level of the pack can be adjusted with filler plates. Besides the pump maintenance program, the gasket and the area around the seal must be checked regularly. An inclined insert can be chosen for pouches with liquid, and a connector for suitable external containers. The care routine should be planned so that product changes and end-of-shift cleaning can also be followed easily.
To consider the Boxer 62, please send us the largest pack size, the exact pouch type and a description of the daily task. Based on this, we will check the layout that can be used in the chamber and the sealing configuration. A well-prepared trial helps decide whether the chosen configuration suits both your product range and your staff's movements.
