The Jumbo 42 XL tabletop chamber vacuum machine provides a more generous working space for neatly positioning goods and pouches. The 420 × 460 × 180 mm chamber can be an advantage if a pack takes up a larger area or if you want to examine loading several smaller items together. We recommend choosing the machine together with the requirements of layout and sealing.

Chamber size for the shape of the pack

The XL version works with a 420 mm seal bar, and a configuration with two 420 mm bars at the front and back is also available. A larger chamber area does not mean that a pouch mouth of any length can be sealed: it must lie properly on the seal bar. The machine's external dimensions of 616 × 493 × 440 mm require a worktop with sufficient load capacity. During installation, also take into account the opening of the lid, the room needed for inserting the pack and the safe removal of sealed goods.

Orderly loading, repeatable operation

Filler plates help create a working level matched to the height of the pack. With several pouches, the sealing part of each must be positioned separately and free of creases, so the number of packs is best determined by a trial. Vacuum and sealing times can be adjusted with digital time control. Check the settings for the pump of 16 m³/h nominal capacity with the real contents. The transparent lid allows the chamber to be observed, and the process can be interrupted with the stop function if necessary.

Conditions for sealing and cleaning

The Jumbo 42 XL is made with a stainless steel outer housing and a deep-drawn stainless steel chamber. The wireless seal bar can be lifted out, which helps remove dirt deposited around it. Sealing is done with a 3.5 mm convex wire; the material, cleanliness and positioning of the pouch all influence the quality of the finished seal. The pump maintenance program is part of keeping the machine in operation. Alongside daily cleaning, it is also worth including regular checks of the condition of the gasket and sealing components.

Accessories for different products

An inclined insert can be chosen for packs containing liquid, and a vacuum connector for suitable external containers. Besides the chamber size, the behaviour of the product also matters: a rigid piece, a soft portion and moist goods may require different preparation. The fill limit of the pouch must be set so that the sealing band remains free. For food, the suitability of the material, the cold chain and later use together define the packaging conditions; we match the recommended vacuum pouch to these as well.
