Fresh home household external-suction vacuum sealer

The Fresh home household external-suction vacuum sealer is designed for smaller packaging tasks at home. The pouch sits outside the machine, and its open end must be inserted into the machine for air removal and sealing. We recommend this compact, plastic-housed machine for occasional use, when you want to put portions prepared at home into neat packs.

For use with embossed pouches

The machine requires air-channel vacuum pouches, also known as embossed vacuum pouches. Their design is what allows air to be drawn off in the external-suction system. The 300 mm sealing bar limits the width of the pouch mouth that can be sealed. Choose the right size by allowing for the open end as well as the product, so that the pouch can be inserted into the machine securely. The suitability of the material must be determined according to the planned storage or later use; the embossing alone does not provide properties suitable for every process.

Simple operation in a small space

The Fresh home performs automatic evacuation and sealing with one-button operation. The machine measures 375 × 155 × 80 mm and runs on a 230 V supply. Place the machine on a stable, clean and dry work surface, and leave adequate support for the pouch in front of it. The open film edge should lie smoothly at the sealing point, without creases. Check on the finished pack that the seal is continuous across the full width. A properly prepared pouch is one of the conditions for easy operation, so this step is worth carrying out carefully.

Designed for household use

This model is not designed for continuous production use. The packaging task must be adapted to the operating and rest cycle given in the instructions. When portioning at home, it is advisable to prepare the necessary pouches in advance and then form portions sized for later use. Labelling the packs clearly helps you keep track of stored items. If you would regularly work with larger quantities, please mention this separately when selecting a machine, as the planned workload is a decisive factor in choosing the right equipment.

Preparing the product also matters

Moisture, crumbs or pieces of product in the pouch mouth can impair the seal. For tasks involving the suction of free liquid, the external-suction design may only be used with a suitable technological solution; the nature of the product must be taken into account before vacuum packing. For easily compressed foods, check the shape of the finished pack with a trial. Packaging does not replace the necessary chilling, hygienic preparation and appropriate storage conditions. Shelf life is determined by the properties and handling of the food together.
