Polar 2-50 floor-standing double-chamber vacuum machine

The total space required by the pack matters

The seal arrangement consists of two seal bars, each 620 mm long, at the front and back. The chamber size must be checked together with the shape of the filled pouch: the thickness of the product, the bend of the film and the free part left for sealing all require space. Placing several packs at once is only justified if every pouch mouth lies flat without obstruction. Filler plates can help with the working height of lower goods. It is advisable to record the approved layout simply, so that the same working method is repeated in both chambers.

Production rhythm between the two chambers

While the machine cycle runs in one chamber, the other can be used to prepare the next batch. Filling the pouches and passing on the packs must also be adapted to the changeover. The machine's external dimensions are 1545 × 900 × 1175 mm, and a 400 V connection is required for operation. Sufficient room for movement must be left in front of and beside the machine, taking into account the movement of the lid. During planning, it is also worth reviewing operator changes and product changes, as a clear division of tasks is particularly important at these points.

Stainless steel design and traceable cleaning

The housing, the flat work surface and the lid are made of stainless steel. The seal bars in the lid come with removable silicone supports. Both chambers must be cleaned according to the same criteria, with the gasket and the sealing area included in the check. The built-in maintenance programme can also be used for pump care. The daily task remains traceable if the place of cleaning at product changes, material replacement and the end-of-shift check are defined in advance in the working routine.

Settings for the requirements of the finished pack

A time-controlled or sensor-controlled version and programme management can be selected. The sealing system can be agreed according to the pouch, for example with a double seal, seal/cut-off or, where justified, a bi-active design. Gas flush operation requires a suitable configuration and an appropriate gas mixture. The soft-air function controls how the chamber is refilled with air at the end of the process. When approving a setting, the fit of the film and the complete seal must be checked. A trial with your own product also shows which function plays a role in the given task.
