Titaan floor-standing double-chamber vacuum machine

The Titaan double-chamber vacuum machine combines vacuum packing with automatic discharge of the finished packs. The built-in conveyor belts help pass on the sealed product, so the operations after the packaging station must also be planned when selecting the machine. Two chambers with automatic discharge

The chamber size is 840 × 890 × 220 mm, and the seal arrangement consists of two 840 mm seal bars at the front and back. The product must be placed so that the pouch can be sealed properly and the finished pack can be conveyed on the belt. The cleanable design of the conveyor belt is part of daily care. The receiving point after discharge must be matched to the size and shape of the pack. When planning the system, it is also necessary to check how the finished goods keep their position during conveying and where the next handling operation takes place.

Control for recurring production tasks

The Titaan offers management of twenty programmes and a multilingual menu. The control design can be agreed for the task, including time-controlled and sensor options. It is worth defining the product, pouch and loading layout data together for the programmes. Some special process functions are tied to the chosen control, so we examine whether they are needed on the basis of the sample product. During the packaging trial, besides the seal, the automatic discharge and the handover to the next workstation must also be checked.

Materials and sealing requirements

The stainless steel housing comes with aluminium chambers and an aluminium lid with a viewing window. Cleaning must be adapted to the material of the various surfaces, including the belts and the sealing area. The seal design, gas flush operation and air return at the end of the process can be agreed according to your packaging needs. Besides meeting the sealing conditions, the pouch must also withstand the stresses that occur during conveying. Care of the pump and the prescribed maintenance of moving parts are an important part of operation.

Considerations for integration into the complete line

The machine's external dimensions are 1180 × 2420 × 1150 mm, and its pump has a nominal capacity of 300 m³/h. The machine's electrical supply must be provided with a 400 V mains connection. When positioning it, sufficient space must be provided for loading, lid movement and the route of the discharged pack. The preparation of incoming batches and the capacity of the receiving work stage together determine the usable pace. Automatic discharge connects well to the plant when the checking and further handling of finished packs can be organised next to the machine without interruption.
