Jumbo 42 tabletop chamber vacuum machine
Seal bar length: 420 mm – Cycle time: 25–60 s
Full description
The Jumbo 42 tabletop chamber vacuum machine offers a 420 mm seal length and a 180 mm high chamber. For larger products or bulkier portions, positioning the pouch is just as important as setting the vacuum. This model is worth considering if you want to adapt the working space of a tabletop machine to wider packs.
Room for the product and the free pouch mouth
In the 420 × 370 × 180 mm chamber, the entire shape of the filled pack must be accommodated while the pouch opening lies on the seal bar. The external dimensions of the machine are 530 × 490 × 440 mm. The design includes one 420 mm seal bar; a version with two 420 mm bars at the front and back is also available. We recommend weighing up the second bar based on the planned pouch layout. Whether several packs can be handled together always depends on their actual width and thickness and on whether they lie flat properly.
Vacuum packing in a process you can observe
The machine works with a pump of 16 m³/h nominal capacity. Vacuum and sealing times can be set with digital time control, and the stop function allows intervention when necessary. The transparent lid makes it easy to observe the chamber. For product changes, it is advisable to record the proven parameters together with the pouch used. For flatter packs, filler plates support correct positioning, so the part of the pouch to be sealed can more easily be brought to the required working level.
Careful preparation of moist products
For pouches containing liquid, the greater chamber height can be useful, but the fill level and the free sealing band must be planned separately. An inclined insert can be chosen to support the pack. Before placing it in the machine, check that no product or moisture has got into the sealing area. The right product temperature and the vacuum setting also influence how the liquid behaves. For food, the necessary chilling routine and hygienic preparation must be maintained throughout the entire packing process.
Cleaning and material selection together
The stainless steel housing and the deep-drawn stainless steel chamber provide surfaces designed for regular cleaning. The wireless seal bars can be lifted out, and the pump comes with a maintenance program. The 3.5 mm convex sealing wire requires a time setting matched to the pouch material. When switching to a thicker, stiffer or differently structured pouch, the seal must be checked again. A suitable connector can be chosen for vacuuming an external container, provided that the container and its lid are suitable for the task.
When choosing the Jumbo 42, please show us your largest pack and the pouch sizes you use regularly. We will help you decide whether the single-bar or double-bar version better suits your work. A preliminary trial of pack layout and sealing provides a tangible basis for putting together the machine and accessories.
