Hot-fill, freezable PP tray with hinged lid

The PP tray with hinged lid is practical packaging for manual portioning and takeaway sales. The lid is attached to the tray, so the filled container can be closed in a single sequence of movements, without having to find and fit a separate lid. It works well in catering outlets and at service counters where little space is available for packaging and the nature of the food does not require a leak-proof seal. The lid is always at hand

The fold-over lid, integrated with the tray, simplifies stock management at the packing station. The closed lid must be checked around its entire perimeter, and filled trays are best arranged level, standing on their base, in the outer packaging. A transport trial with the product helps establish the right packing arrangement.
